in 95 he formed a proper band to play the material out live and went through line up after line up until 97 when astrobrite played their last show. that is until now.astrobrite as well as various other projects were merely in hiatus. scott along with adam and kat cooper of ALISONS HALO, maestros of blisspop, have joined forces to bring astrobrite back to life. think superhero teams like the avengers or new x-men.
astrobrite has included the brightest from the beautiful noise bliss scene;rob smith and doug walker of XEBEC,andrew prinz of MAHOGONY,odell nails of MAJESTY CRUSH and lynn anderson of 6SM and ALISONS HALO.
formed in arizona where the beautiful noise scene was officially begun at the behest of brandon capps. astrobrite debuted at the second beautiful noise festival. in the summer of 95 scott moved back to his home state of michigan to become a part of the space rock scene he had once been a part of and had left behind in its infancy.
now the 4 track demos that many of his friends have grown to love are available on cd. after 5 years only the hits remained and are featured on the debut cd,' crush'
